Thank Gravel It’s Friday is in our hometown of Southern California to rip one of our favorite climbs, Black Star Canyon, on Black Friday. Consider this our Friendsgiving of Gravel!

Come burn off the Turkey from Thanksgiving on Friday morning with us instead of fighting someone at Walmart for a deal on a tv. We’ll be looking down at the madness of consumerism from the top of the mountain eating leftover turkey (or tofurkey) sandwiches and stuffing.

Meet at the parking off Black Star Canyon Road at the base of the trailhead, we’ll roll at 9am, so please arrive before that. Pace will be moderate but feel free to ride your own pace and we’ll meet at the top at the doppler tower to take in one of the most epic views in Orange County. We will also regroup at Hagador Peak and Sierra Peak before descending back down Black Star Canyon.

Those who don’t need to go find Black Friday deals can meet us at Laguna Beer Co in Rancho Santa Margarita after for beer and grub.

Ride whatever bike you want. Bring your friends. Pack a flat kit, your stoke, and throw on your favorite kit or flannel.
