Join Thank Gravel It's Friday and Ostroy for the Far Out Gravel Adventure Series, a set of two gnarly gravel rides into the mountains of Boulder, Colorado. Each ride will be around 60-80 miles with 6-9000 ft of elevation, plenty of dirt, technical single track, and steep rocky climbs... a far out ride not for the faint of heart. Reach all 5 checkpoints during each ride to win prizes and beer at the end of the ride. In this edition, we will be giving away three entries to The Rad Dirt in beautiful Trinidad, Colorado this September. When you finish all five checkpoints you will automatically be entered to win an entry.
Meet at Sanitas Brewing at 8:30am for coffee, roll at 9am for a neutral roll out to the first climb. From there, you can ride at your own pace or with friends, and finish the challenge on your own time. Each checkpoint will be indicated on the route, and when you arrive to each check point, you must find the book, and rip out a page. Don't loose the page, you'll drop off all your pages at Sanitas Brewing after the ride. We will have one official aid station on the route provided by Skratch Labs and Carbs Fuel with a few more spots to refuel on your own along the way, but these rides are self supported so please come prepared with food, water, and tools. The Gold Hill Store will be featured on every ride as well; so stop and grab water, soda and snacks there too!
Rock your best 80s attire, neon, leg warmers, mesh, and mullets… the two best dressed riders will win a prize from Ostroy! Anyone who completes all five checkpoints and turns in their pages at Sanitas will also win a custom Far Out water bottle or custom TGIF top cap from Dispatch Cycling and be entered to win prizes. We will also have an award for the “Lanterne Rouge” or last rider to finish all five checkpoints and complete the ride before Sanitas Brewing closes at 10pm.

Ride #2 - Saturday, August 24th (August 3rd ride was postponed due to fires and air quality concerns in the Boulder area)
Bring a change of clothes and hang out after the ride with your fellow cyclists as we cheers to a big day and suffering on the bike together. Cold beers and tacos will be on tap post ride!
You will be asked to sign the liability waiver prior to the ride.
